Josef Suk - Serenade for Strings Op. 6
Mozart’s Divertimento in D major, penned at just sixteen, sparkles with clarity and effortless joy. Tchaikovsky’s youthful writing brims with Romantic lyricism and emotional sensitivity, hinting at the depths to come. Suk’s Serenade for Strings, composed as a student under Dvořák’s guidance, glows with tenderness, elegance, and heartfelt melody.
Together, these works offer a glimpse of brilliance in bloom—music born not from maturity, but from extraordinary instinct and boundless creative energy.

Student Tickets: $10 (open to all students with Student I.D., as well as persons 25 and younger)
